Easy Peasy Meringues I just made meringues for the first time, and I am blown away by how  easy and delicious they are! I have also been experimenting with colours, which is so fun and unique! Note: this recipe is from  https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/basic-meringues-2/631f6019-107c-428b-b2c9-772a2b498ace You will need: 4 egg whites, at room temperature Pinch of salt 1 cup (220g) caster sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence Method: Step 1 Preheat oven to 120°C. Line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper. Step 2 Use an electric mixer to whisk egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, whisking well between each addition, until sugar dissolves. Step 3 Once all the sugar has been added, continue to whisk on high for 3 mins. Whisk in the vanilla essence. Step 4 Use two teaspoons to spoon meringue onto lined trays. Reduce the oven temperature to 90°C. Step 5 Bake meringues for 1 ...

Meatballs This recipe is very easy and the meatballs turn out so well! I used this website:  Kitchn.com  for this recipe Ingredients : 1/2  cup  fine, dry breadcrumbs 1/2  cup  milk 1  large egg 1/2  cup  grated Parmesan cheese 1/4  cup  finely chopped fresh parsley leaves 2  teaspoons  kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper 1  pound  ground meat, such as beef, pork, turkey, chicken, or veal, or a mix 1/2  cup  finely chopped onion (or grated on the large holes of a coarse grater) 1  clove  garlic, minced Method: Combine the milk and breadcrumbs.  Place the breadcrumbs in a small bowl, pour in the milk, and stir to combine. - No Bake Oreo Cheesecake - This recipe is from  Recipe Rebel Ingredients: 1/4 cup melted butter 50 Oreo cookies (2 300g packages) divided 1/2 cup white chocolate chips 24 oz cream cheese (3 250g/8oz packages) 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream Instructions: Crust : Combine melted butter and 1 package of Oreo cookies in a food processor. Process until smooth and starts to stick together. Press into a 9" Springform pan and about 1/2" up the sides. Filling : In a medium bowl, combine white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup cream. - Cheesecake - This recipe is from  The Recipe Rebel Ingredients: Crust: 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted Filling: 3 packages regular cream cheese (8oz each for a total of 24 oz or 750g) 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 cup heavy whipping cream What to do: Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom of the pan and about 1 in up the sides. In a large bowl, beat room temperature cream cheese with an electric or stand mixer until it is smooth.  Add the sugar and vanilla and beat on high until smooth. Add the cream, and beat on low until incorporated, then beat on high until thick and fluffy. Adjust sugar to your tastes if desired. - Roasted Cauliflower - This recipe is from a book called ' Syria, recipes from the home '. You will need: 1 large whole cauliflower, chopped into florets Vegetable oil, for roasting Small handful of parsley, chopped Handful of almonds, toasted Salt & pepper, to taste For the dressing: 1 garlic clove 1/4  tsp sea salt 50 ml extra virgin olive oil Juice of  1/2  lemon 1/2   tsp ground cumin Method: Roast the cauliflower florets with a little vegetable oil, salt and pepper for around 30 minutes or until they have turned golden brown. While the cauliflower is cooking, make the dressing by crushing the garlic and salt with a pestle and mortar, adding the olive oil, lemon juice and cumin, and whisk everything together. Pour the dressing on the roasted cauliflower and sprinkle with parsley and almonds to serve.
