Bean Sauce
- Bean Sauce -

Note: This serves 6 people, to be eaten with rice. Check out our Easy Rice Recipe!
Ingredients:
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 can white beans
- Water
- Splash of oil
- 2 heaped spoonfuls of tomato paste
- 1 stock cube
- Pinch of turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp coriander
Method:
- Fry the diced onion in oil, until soft but not discoloured.
- Add water - just enough to cover the onion and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the tomato paste, cooking it for a while. Then add the stock cube, herbs and spices and salt. Then cover with water until your saucepan is half-full. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the beans and - again - simmer until the beans are soft enough and the sauce is done.
- Serve and enjoy!
